This past Friday, we attended the 24th annual Cleveland Choice Awards. The Cleveland Choice Awards is the premier awards show in all of Northeastern Ohio, recognizing and honoring the best of the best in new residential home design, remodeling and renovations, historical restoration, and construction excellence. This year’s show took place in The Westin Cleveland Downtown, and was sponsored by Cleveland Magazine, Carter Lumber, the Cleveland Home Builders Association, Cambria, and many other local and national sponsors.
The great and unique thing about the CCA is the process– the judges are high-level architects, designers, and construction experts thereby creating a fair and unbiased “blind judging” process. This year’s show had the most entries in the CCA’s twenty four year history, and out of hundreds of builders in the Greater Cleveland area competing in just six new construction single-family categories, Alexandra Homes won four first place awards, including the event’s most prestigious award: FIRST PLACE, CUSTOM HOME OF THE YEAR. This is the second year in a row we’ve won Custom Home Of The Year top honors, and fifth in the past eleven years, continuing our tradition of award-winning excellence in our marketplace. A second home also took third place in Custom Home of the Year voting!
